Alcoholic Blood Orange Sparkling Punch Recipe

  • Cold water (1 litre)

  • Orange slices

  • Sugar (to taste)

  • Blood orange juice (1/2 cup)

  • Brandy (1/4 cup)

  • Red wine (1 cup)

  • Additional blood orange slices for garnish



  1. Fill the water bottle with cold water and carbonate it using your soda water machine.

  2. In a large pitcher, add orange slices and sugar according to your desired sweetness.

  3. Muddle the orange slices and sugar together using a muddler or a wooden spoon for approximately 45 seconds, until the sugar is dissolved and the oranges release their juices.

  4. Pour the freshly carbonated sparkling water into the pitcher.

  5. Add blood orange juice (1/2 cup) and brandy (1/4 cup) to the pitcher.

  6. Muddle the mixture again for about 30 seconds to combine the flavors.

  7. Slowly pour in red wine (1 cup) into the pitcher.

  8. Stir gently to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.

  9. Garnish the pitcher with additional blood orange slices.

  10. Serve the refreshing sparkling citrus spritz over ice in individual glasses, ensuring each glass has a good mix of fruit and sparkling liquid.

  11. Enjoy this delightful beverage and savor the vibrant flavors of blood orange and sparkling water.

Note: Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste preference. You can also experiment with different variations by adding herbs like mint or basil for an extra twist of freshness. Cheers!
